Antecedents: Vishnu – Brahma – Atri – Chandra – Budha – Pururavas – Ayus – Anenas.<\/p>\n

Pururavas and Urvashi had six sons – Ayus, Shrutayus, Satyayus, Raya, Vijaya and Jaya. Ayus had five sons named Nahusha, Kshastravridha, Raji, Rambha and Anenas. Nahusha’s son was Yayati and the line continued with Puru, Yadu etc, from whom the respective vansh evolved. Anenas’ son was called Shudha.
