Iksvaku &#8211; Vimsha &#8211; Kalyana &#8211; Khaninetra &#8211; Suvarchas. Suvarchas later became known as Karandhama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once Suranchas&#8217; kingdom was plagued by famine and his treasury became empty. His enemies chose this time to attack him and Suvarchas didn&#8217;t have an army. He prayed to the gods and clapped his hands. A huge army appeared ready to fight for him, and he defeated his enemies. Since he got ana rmy by clapping his hands (karam dhama) he became known as Karandhama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His son was the famous king Avikshit as per Mahabharata Ashwamedhaparva Chapter 4.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was popular in the Yamasabha as per Mahabharata Sabhaparva Chapter 8 verse 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A king who belonged to the Ikshvaku dynasty.
