Brahma&#8217;s son Pulaha had three sons with his wife Kshama &#8211; Kardama, Urvariya, Sahishnu, as per Vishnupurana Ansh 1 Chapter 10. Kardama married Devahuti, who was the daughter of Swayambhuvamanu. Her sisters were Akuti, Prasuti as per Devibhagavata Ashtamaskanda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Devahuti looked after Kardama well and was rewarded with a flying machine. They both roamed the world and soon Devahuti became pregnant. They had nine daughters and a son, Kapila. The girls were married off by Marichi, and Kapila became a renowned sage.
