Also known as Kushaplavana. Bathing here and staying for three nights is equivalent to conducting an ashwamedha as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 12 verse 21. Diti, wife of Kashyapa once meditated her for getting a son equal to Indra. Indra got into her womb and killed the unborn child. This made Kushaplava famous as per Ramayana Balakanda Sarga 46.
