Kalakeya
Or Kalakhanja.
A common name for the group of asuras born to Kashyapa and Kalika as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 65. They are about 60000 in number. They have fought under Vritra and other asuras too.
Once the Kalakeyas started harassing brahmins – killing them, disrupting their yajnas, and so on. The brahmins complained to Agastya, who set out to catch them. They hid in the ocean, but Agastya drank the ocean up. But a few kalakeyas managed to escape to patala as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 101.
Hiranyapura, near devaloka served as a base for the asuras. The Kalakeyas once attacked the devas along with a group called Nivatakavachas. Indra sent Matali to bring Arjuna to devaloka. Arjuna defeated the asuras and killed many Kalakeyas as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 172 verse 3.
Kalaketu
A famous asura emperor who was born to Kashyapa and Danu. He later kidnapped Ekavira’s wife Ekavali and took her to patala. He was then defeated by Ekavira. See Ekavira.
Kalakeerti
A kshatriya king. He was created from a body part of Suparna, younger brother of the asura Mayura, as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 67.
Kalakamukha
A rakshasa who was the brother of Ravana’s minister Prahasta. He was with Khara-Dushana during Rama’s exile period. The others were Shyenagami, Pridhugriva, Yajnashatru, Vihangama, Durjaya, Karaviraksha, Parusha, Meghamali, Mahamali, Sarpasya, Rudhirashana, as per Ramayana Aranyakanda Sarga 26.

An asura who was killed by Garuda as per Mahabharata Udyogaparva Chapter 105.
Kalakanya
Yama’s daughter. See Puranjana.
Kalaka (2)
An asura born to Kashyapa and Kalika as per Ramayana Aranyakanda Chapter 14.
Kalaka (1)
Or Kalika. One of Daksha’s daughters. She was married to Kashyapa ans Narakasura and the Kalakeyas were born to them as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 183 and Ramayana Aranyakanda Chapter 14.
She once prayed to Brahma to make her children immortal as per Mahabharata Aranyaparva Chapter 174.
Kalavriksheeya
A sage. When a king named Kshemadarshi was ruling Kosala, the subjects were troubled by the indecent behaviour of his soldiers. During that time, this sage, who was also a friend of the king’s father, arrived there with a birdcage containing a crow. He claimed to know Vayasividya, by which he could get the crow to predict the future, but his real purpose was to keep a watch on the soldiers’ activities. After getting the information he wanted, he reached the palace and told the king about this, on the pretext of his Vayasividya.
The king’s minister got a few servants to kill the crow the same night. The next day, the sage told the king about the minister’s activities. The king heeded his advice and cleaned up his ministry and army as per Mahabharata Shantiparva Chapter 82.
The sage also advised Drupada to make peace with Kshemadarshi as per Mahabharata Shantiparva Chapter 106.
He was also present in Indra’s court as per Mahabharata Sabhaparva Chapter 7.
