A river which flows towards the west in Jambudweepa. Itoriginated from a Kadambara tree and hence the name as per Bhagavata Panchamaskanda.

Katyayani
One of Yajnavalkya’s two wives. As per Brihadaranyakopanishad, when Yajnavalkya withdrew from worldly dealings, he asked his wives to share the tasks equally. But since Maitreyi was more interested in spiritual knowledge, it was completely taken up by Katyayani.

Kanabhuti
A pisacha. In his earlier incarnation, he was known as Supratika. Supratika once befriended a pisacha named Sthulashiras. Kuber was angered and made Supratika a pisacha. He began living in the Vindhyas. When this story was told to Gunaddhya, Kanabhuti was able to regain his old form.

Kanchipuram. Used to be the capital of the Cholas. It was also known as Kanchivaram. It is considered a holy place as per Mahabharata Udyogaparva Chapter 161 verse 21.
Kalavati (2)
The mother of Mrigavati. Mrigavati was the wife of Udayana.
Kanchanakshi
A river that flows through Naimisharanya. It is part of the river Saraswati as per Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 38 verse 19.
