A warrior who fought on the Kaurava side in the Mahabharata war. He had a brother named Shrutayu and both were killed by Arjuna. According to Mahabharata Dronaparva Chapter 93 verses 7-42, they troubled both Arjuna and Krishna quite a lot and it required quite some effort from Arjuna to kill them.

A village in ancient India. According to Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 129 verse 9, this place was inhabited by shudras belonging to the Sankara clan in ancient times.

As per Mahabharata Ashwamedhikaparva Chapter 32 verse 12, one night Vyasa invoked the souls of all those who had died in the war. Achala was also present in the group.
