A king in Yayati’s dynasty as per Bhagavata Navamaskanda.
Chakrika
A tribal who is mentioned in Padmapurana Kriyayoga Chapter 16. He was a devotee of Vishnu and loved his parents. He used to offer fruits to Vishnu daily, but only after tasting them first. Once a fruit got stuck in his throat and he slit his throat to ensure that his lord got the fruit. Vishnu brought him back to life and many years later, he died at Dwaraka and attained salvation.
Chakrati
A region in India as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 9 verse 45.
Chakravyuha
A battle formation in the shape of a wheel. Drona made a chakravyuha during the Mahabharata war, trapping Abhimanyu inside and killing him. Arjuna was the only one who knew how to break this. Dronaparva Chapter 34 describes this in detail.
Chakravan
A mountain praised in the epics. Sugriva asked the vanaras to specifically search for Sita here. This was where Vishwakarma made the sudarshana as per Ramayana Kishkindakanda Chapter 42 verse 27.
Chakramanda
A snake. He was sent by Anantha to bring Balarama’s soul to patala as per Mahabharata Mausalaparva Chapter 4 verse 16.
Chakranemi
Skanda’s atendant as per Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 46 verse 5.
Chakradharma
The lord of the vidyadharas. He, along with his brothers were devotees of Kuber as per Mahabharata Sabhaparva Chapter 10 verse 27.
Chakradhara
A wise brahmin. He was one eyed and his body was oddly shaped and was a charcter in Vatsarajacharitra. See Vidushaka.
Chakradhanus
Another name for Kapila.
